Do You Remember when Hollywood was on our side?

"During other periods of our history when America had to defend our allies or ourselves, such as World War II, Hollywood heroes such as Clark Gable, Jimmy Stewart, Gary Cooper, Glenn Ford, Henry Fonda and Elvis Presley, Charles Bronson, Lee Marvin among others, donned our nation’s uniform and served their country with pride.   They put their careers on hold to defend our country and our freedoms."

03-21-04 - A note from a Hollywood-Hero fan rightfully pointed out that we need to add Wayne Newton to our list of Hollywood-Hero Hall of Famers.

Wayne Newton is heading up the USO and is doing a great job entertaining our troops overseas.  Check out the site to see all the tour dates and participants.

Mr. Newton has received an award from The American Legion for his positive statements and actions supporting American troops (The American Legion Exceptional Citizen Award) Also The VFW "Hall Of Fame Award", and the U.S. Department of Defense highest civilian award for being the only entertainer to perform in all three of the following zones for our troops, Vietnam, Lebanon after the bombing of the Marine barracks there, and the Persian gulf.

03-15-04 - RAMONE'S A RIGHT-THINKING ROCKER - New York Post's Page Six

RIGHT-wing rocker Johnny Ramone scolded his friend Eddie Vedder after the Pearl Jam singer impaled a mask of President Bush and slammed it to the stage at a Denver concert last April. "I got serious with him and told him that he was alienating people," Johnny tells the Washington Times. "And I got him to see the point." The guitarist for the legendary Ramones has always been an ideological outcast in the left-leaning world of rock. The NRA-supporting Johnny calls Ronald Reagan "the greatest president of my lifetime," listens to Rush Limbaugh and Michael Medved on the radio, and watches "The O'Reilly Factor" every night. Johnny, 55, says his conservative views rankled his fellow Ramones.

Hall of Fame - On a brighter note, we found another conservative in Hollywood.  Guess who?  Do we all remember Jimmie (J.J.) Walker from "Good Times"?  Check out his website here and his latest column in Jewish World Review here.

Jackie Mason, the comedian, is also another newly discovered Hollywood conservative.  His latest column with attorney Raoul Felder can be found here.

The numbers of Hollywood conservatives who "come out of the closet" are growing every day.  It's vital that we continue the movement to organize these celebrities into a strong voice of support for our values and for President Bush and for the future.  The days of Ronald Reagan are coming back and with your help, we too will be a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood---Hollywood Lives...Heartland Values Join us Today!

Quote of the Week

07-14-03 - "I could make another 10 or 20 movies about guys in the armed forces.  When they go away, they don't know if they're coming back.  They should be paid a hundred grand each, every one of them."

  Bruce Willis

Did you know that Ed McMahon, Johnny Carson's sidekick and a veteran supports President Bush?  How about Gena Nolin from Baywatch?  And Shannon Doherty from Charmed?  Angie Harmon from Law and Order?  Barrett Swatek, of 7th Heaven?  Morgan Brittany of Dallas Fame?  Jean-Claude Van Damme?

These are some names that have vocally supported President Bush during these troubled times and have not gotten a lot of press attention.

We, however, think they should and we will keep shining a light on the people in Hollywood who are unafraid to show their support for our president!

Have you heard a notable quotable from someone in Hollywood this week to nominate for our Hollywood-Hero - Hall of Fame or someone who has gone over the line from freedom of speech for our Hall of Shame?
