Do You Remember when Hollywood was on our side?

They put their careers on hold to defend our country and our freedoms."

Hollywood- Hero Support Our Troops PetitionSupport President Bush, Our Troops & our Hollywood- Heroes!! We, the undersigned, do hereby declare our allegiance to our country, our troops, our flag and our president. We reject the premise that it's all America's fault that there are people in this world who want to destroy us. We reject the premise that this war is all about oil. We reject the premise that President Bush and his cabinet are warmongers whose reasoning for going after Saddam Hussein and other terrorists was about revenge, pay back or to pad the pockets of oil companies. Iraq was liberated from an evil regime, and we thank President Bush for having the courage to deal with this tyrannical dictator and are thankful he is now in custody. We declare confidence in our leaders. We believe they know more than we do. We believe Iraq posed a dangerous threat. Do the anti-war protestors think Osama bin Laden posed an immediate threat on September 10, 2001? What would they have done if they had known? We support the families of our military and the soldiers themselves. We want them to know, we as Americans are with them, and we'll do anything we can to help while they're off defending our country and our freedoms. Finally, we support the few stars in Hollywood who have courageously come out and supported our president against potential backlash from most of Hollywood. These brave souls deserve our praise, our support and our commerce. Remember these brave few when choosing what movie to see or rent, what music to buy, what TV shows to watch. Fred Thompson, Ron Silver and James Woods have publicly voiced their support for the president. We hope more will start speaking out in support of President Bush and we will remember and support them when they do. Not since the days of Ronald Reagan, our 40th president, a Army Air Corp veteran, has there been a solid voice for conservatives in Hollywood. America is sending a message that the time is now for that voice to rise again. Signed,
